4 Bedrooms(2 masters w/ king beds), 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, Sleeps 9+
Beach Dream, Spectacular Beach House on Great Guana Cay, Abaco, Bahamas
One of the only 4-bedroom houses that is directly on the beach!
Beach Dream is a luxurious beachfront house finished in January 2009 with all new tropical furnishings. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms with a fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances and filtered water throughout the house. The house offers an open floor plan including an island with bar stools and a dining room table that seats 8, making Beach Dream perfect for family dinners and entertaining. There is a wall of windows in the great room and dining room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gorgeous pink/white sand beach that stretches for miles. The beach house is elevated and offers panoramic views from the large front deck of the wrap around porch.
If you like the best, Beach Dream is for you…it’s EXTRAORDINARY! Every detail has been beautifully executed, from the porcelain tile floors to 10′ ceilings in the bedrooms and the vaulted cypress tongue and groove ceilings in the great room.
All of the bedrooms have been furnished with high thread-count sheets and bedding. The master bedroom has a king bed with French doors that open onto the front deck and gorgeous colors of the ocean. The master bath has double sinks with a shower tiled to the ceiling. The second master also has a king bed with its own entrance into the bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. It has a tub/shower that is also tiled to the ceiling. The half bath is located near the third and fourth bedrooms. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 bunk beds and a twin bed. A new cot can be used in the bunk room for a 4th person (works better for children).
The beach house is available for weekly and longer rentals. Rates range from $2,400 to $3,800 (Christmas and New Year’s Eve weeks are a little more) Saturday is the normal check in/out day. A minimum stay of 4 nights is available in the off-season and on a last-minute basis.

Great Guana Cay
Great Guana Cay is a barrier island in the Abaco chain of islands in the Bahamas. The third largest barrier reef sits just off shore, offering unlimited snorkeling and SCUBA diving opportunities. A gorgeous reef is right in front of the house that is perfect for snorkeling and is only a short swim away with an easy beach entry. The island has about 150 residents but there are quite a few second homeowners and visitors. Guana Cay is a beautiful tropical island with gorgeous beaches that are never crowded and the color of the water is unbelievable! It is secluded yet has all the necessities.
There are a few restaurants and bars, as well as a grocery store and a liquor store. Dive Guana offers scuba diving and snorkeling trips, and they also rent nice 21ft. to 23ft. boats for fishing, diving or exploring on your own. World-famous Nipper’s Beach Bar and Grill has very good food and they are family-friendly with a swimming pool. It’s always fun and people come from all of the neighboring islands to visit, especially on Sunday afternoon for the weekly pig roast. Grabber’s Bar & Grill is fun, too and a great place to watch the beautiful Guana sunset. Beach Dream is within walking distance to all the fun.
Restaurants and Shops on Great Guana Cay : World-famous Nipper’s Beach Bar and Grill is family-friendly with a swimming pool and consistently excellent food. It’s always fun and people come from all of the neighboring islands to visit, especially on Sunday afternoon for the weekly Pig Roast Party. Friday nights are also popular for Chicken-In-Da-Bag or Conch. A local character named Milo runs a stand on the main harbour street that offers home-grown vegetables, citrus and lobster tails. Don’t forget Grabber’s for dinner and to watch the spectacular sunsets….and join visitors and second-homeowners on Wednesday night for Pot Luck. Kidd’s Cove Seafood is cooking up daily specials and sushi. Another option is Orchid Bay Yacht Club & Marina which has a nice restaurant Sunsetter that features Rib Night on Saturdays and Wing Night on Thursdays, as well as a full-service marina. Beach Dream is within walking distance to everything, but it’s fun to rent a golf cart for a day or two to explore the entire seven mile island.

Amazing View of the Atlantic Ocean
You’ll have a great time! Spectacular views, beaches to yourselves, relaxing, playing in the waves, snorkeling right off the beach in front of the house, scuba diving, boating, fishing, relaxing, shelling, hunting for sea glass, excellent seafood, beautiful sunsets, and more relaxing!
Great Guana Cay is about 7 miles long and not very wide, so a golf cart is the most common means of transportation. The kids will love that the house has a couple of boogie boards for playing in the waves. The gorgeous beaches stretch for miles and are never crowded, and the water is crystal clear!
Pack your snorkel and dive gear…a spectacular reef is right off the beach in front of the house that is excellent for frequent snorkeling. Dive Guana offers full service PADI scuba diving and snorkeling trips. Dive Guana also has any gear you need…the water is very clear and the diving is gorgeous. If you would like to rent a boat during your vacation, I highly recommend the boats at Dive Guana. It’s conveniently located on Guana Cay and they rent nice 20ft. to 26ft. boats for fishing, diving or exploring and are reasonably priced. http://www.diveguana.com/boatrentals.html If you rent from Dive Guana, it’s simple to leave the boat at their dock. Otherwise, you can dock for free at the Government dock
You’ll have the Best Vacation EVER!
